Scotia Bank, on Saturday, donated $50,000 towards the construction of the National Veterans’ Rest Home.
As part of the 40th anniversary celebrations of the GDF in November 2005, the then Chief of Staff had established a joint task force to oversee the erection of the home.
The proposed site is at the Joint Services Housing Project in Lamaha Springs.
