Golfers will tee off today in the Water Chris sponsored Medal Play golf tournament at the Lusignan Golf Club course starting at 12:30 hours.
Today’s tournament is expected to be filled with excitement and could pin point some of the front runners for the Guyana Open championships due in two weeks time.
The field is expected to include the most recent winner Gavin Todd, who won the Trophy Stall Diwali tournament on Tuesday, as well as runner up Ronald Bulkan, Monnaf Arjune and Alfred Mentore.
Also in contention will be the in-form teenagers Joann Deo, Avinash Persaud, Avinda Kishore also Ian Gouveia, Patrick Prashad, Brian Hackett, Brian Gladford, Colin Ming, Mike Mangal, Mike Guyadin, Clifford Reis, Mark Lashley, Christine Sukhram, Maurice Solomon, Esau Shamshudin, Chatterpaul Deo, Imran Khan, Lester Alvis, Carlos Adams, Melissa Humphrey, Bolaram Deo, Dr. Ram Singh, Jorge Medina, and Albert Semple.
