Dear Editor,
The Guyana Justices of the Peace & Commissioners of Oaths to Affidavits Association ex­presses strong positive sentiments of praise to His Excellency Bharrat Jagdeo, President of the Re­public of Guyana, for his lonely, courageous stance in signaling his opposition to two clauses in the EPA that pose a serious threat to the future of CARICOM’s overall vision for its people and which evoked a review of same to the benefit of our people.
While many have sought to criticise it would be noteworthy if those very individuals could see that your course of action had singled you out as a visionary and a lion for your nation and the Caribbean people as a whole. A good visionary is hard to find and only a few are around.
