Guyana’s premier distance runner Cleveland Forde, fresh from his back to back victories over the last two weekend’s in the South American 10km races in Suriname and Guyana, will make his half marathon debut in the Twin Island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, on Sunday.
Forde also known as the ‘Little Kenyan’ will be competing in the University of the West Indies Half Marathon in Port of Spain on Sunday which has attracted an international field and has been dominated in previous years by Kenyan athletes.
Forde’s attendance at this race has been made possible by the Guyana Telephone & Telegraph Company, GT&T.
