When Joel Neblett takes to the track on Sunday, he will be making a return after a one year absence and all eyes will be on him as he challenges the likes of Canadians Kevin Graham, Craig Atkinson and locals Stephen Vieira, Christopher McLean, Gregory Lopes and others.
Neblett, who has never really taken the sport by storm, told Kaieteur Sport that with the motor bikes category more so the ‘big bikes’ providing much of the excitement to racing fans right now, he is taking Sunday’s Meeting seriously and any rider underestimating him could be in for a big surprise.
Neblett was speaking shortly after receiving sponsorship from Windjammer International Cuisine and Comfort Inn yesterday at the entity’s location.
The lanky rider, who pilots a 600cc Yamaha R6, is aiming to upstage his more established opponents.
