The Demerara Bank 2nd Division 40 over cricket competition, organised by the Berbice Cricket Board for teams in the Upper and Central Corentyne areas continued last Saturday.
Number 58 Swing Star registered an easy 118 run victory over #45 CC thanks mainly to Toola Tulsie whose 58 enabled them to post 170-8 in their 40 overs.
In reply, #45 were routed for a meager 52, with medium pacer Talat Khan returning splendid figures of 6-9 from 3.3 overs. After Scotsburg United had hit 167 versus Kim Il Sung, their Berbice under 19 all rounder, Alex Amsterdam opened the bowling and helped dismiss the opposition for 75 by taking 5-17 from 6 overs.
Eric Angel scored 54 for Skeldon Community Centre in their 74 run victory over Crabwood Creek Rising.
