DEAR EDITOR,
Never, in the history of this country, have we witnessed such an uncontrolled disposal of garbage like what is happening today.
If no proper system is set up to deal with this uncontrolled garbage disposal, in a few years’ time, our country — especially the city — will be in a dreadful condition.
Travelling around the country, you can always see plastic bags, plastic bottles, cans and Styrofoam boxes floating in the rivers, trenches and canals. People dump household waste into nearby canals, rivers and on the roadsides.
We should care for our environment, and stop this crazy dumping of garbage all over the place, or our country will soon become a plastic city of piles of garbage.
