DEAR EDITOR,
The countdown to elections in the USA is gaining pace, with the campaign taking on a complexion of nastiness.
I wonder if the politics in that country will descend to what we see in Third World countries: derogatory mudslinging and ethnic polarisation, not to mention civil unrest and its attendant destruction. Whoever wins, the landscape of the USA and the world will change forever after November 4 next.
Incidentally, at the local level, the call for the removal of the Joint Forces from Buxton may well be a signal that a jailbreak may be imminent, or that criminal elements are looking to regroup.
