Forty six golfers took part last week and according to Secretary of the Lusignan Golf Club Ronald Bulkan that number could be surpassed tomorrow as greater interest is being shown in the sport locally.
Among the top contenders will be Ian Gouveia, Parick Prashad, Esau Shamshudin, Chatterpaul Deo, Imran Khan, Mike Mangal, Lester Alvis, Joann Deo, Greet Heikens, Rita Heikens, Melissa Humphrey, Brian Gladford, Ronald Bulkan, Jerome Khan, Maurice Solomon, Brian Hackett, Christine Sukhram, Robert Hanoman, Mike Guyadin, Avinda Kishore, Bolaram Deo, Dr. Ram Singh, Clifford Reis, Mark Lashley, Alfred Mentore and Albert Semple.
Representatives of Ansa Mc al will attend and assist in the presentation of prizes and according to Bulkan, a special invitation has been extended to former Managing Director of the sponsors, Paul Chan-a-Sue to attend tomorrow’s action. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers as well as closest to the pin.
