After years of studying, Neil Persram was finally admitted to the bar on Monday last by Acting Chief Justice, Ian Chang.
During his admission to the bar, Chief Justice Chang advised Persram to keep reading and improving his knowledge and to always remember the appropriateness of the humbleness of the profession.
The Chief Justice also pressed for maturity and the use of reasoning in the practise of law.
Persram, in turn, spoke about his love for law and his connection to it since most of his family members are lawyers.
He added that he hopes to uphold the traditions and practices of the profession and to become a worthy member of it. Mr. Persram will be attached to the Chambers of Ramjattan and Associates.
He thanked lawyer, Khemraj Ramjattan, for presenting his petition, and his family for their support and love during his time of need.
