The Americans once said to the local media that assistance is success driven. At the time the then Ambassador, Roland Bullen, was responding to queries that the United States was slow to help Guyana in its fight against crime.
Ambassador Bullen’s words must have been heard all along the Corentyne because on Saturday, Director of Pure Diamonds, Sergeant Arjune John, called Mike, donated two shotguns to the Rampoor Community Policing Group.
The presentation was done at the Springlands Police Station and among those witnessing the presentation were outgoing Divisional Commander, Assistant Commissioner Clinton Conway and some other members of the Rampoor Community Policing Group.
