Central Rupununi blanked East End 4-0 at the St Ignatius ground in Region Nine yesterday to win the Rupununi Football Association male Inter District football competition.
For their effort Central received the Daniel Gajie trophy and $75,000 donated by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport.
Central also won the female competition by defeating East End on penalty kicks after the game was deadlocked 1-1 at regulation time.
