An attacking 43 from Orin Forde and 40 from Deon Ferrier led Malteenoes Sports Club to an easy four-wicket win against GDF at the MSC ground yesterday as action continued in the Georgetown Cricket Association Pepsi Cup first division 40-overs cricket competition.
National under-17 selectee, pacer Seon Daniels was again impressive with 3-30 while leg-spinner Antonell Atwell (2-31) and left-arm spinner Damien Vantull (2-12) conspired to restrict the Soldiers to 151-9 when their 40 overs expired with former Guyana first-class medium pacer Roderick Lovell making 21.
Forde, a national 20/20 all-rounder, hit five fours and a six in his 43 while Ferrier, who played four 20/20 and six regional one-day games for Guyana, made 40 with two boundaries as MSC won with 14 overs to spare.
