Favorites Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) will battle Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport (MCYS) in the second semi-final of the Beharry Cup / Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) second division 40-overs cricket competition at the Everest ground from 11:00hrs tomorrow while five matches in the Pepsi Cup first division 40-overs tournament and three games in the De Sinco under-19, 40-overs series will also be played this weekend in the City.
The winner of the DCC/MCYS encounter will face Transport Sport Club (TSC) in the Beharry Cup final after TSC squeezed past Malteenoes by one run after making 103 in their semi-final last Saturday at DCC.
Also tomorrow GNIC face DCC at DCC and Malteenoes entertains GDF while on Sunday DCC hosts TSC, GCC battles Malteenoes at Malteenoes and Everest will enjoy home advantage against GDF.
In the De Sinco Cup under-19 competition, TSC play Third Class at GNIC and GYO are at home to Malteenoes tomorrow with the lone game on Sunday bringing together Ace Warriors and Third Class at GYO.
