DEAR EDITOR,
Guyana Lottery in talks with its overseas counterparts might need to consider the following for I believe that with a positive outcome, they will see many more smiling faces from patrons of the lottery and eventually you will see a major boost in sales.
The next time that there is an un-claimed prize, which is worth many millions, consideration should be given to have a wider selection of winners.
That is, if the prize is worth $10 million and one could get 25 motor scooters, 25 plasma TVs and 50 irons, it simply means that 100 persons can get back something rather than only a limited amount sharing the booty.
Just tell me which nurse or teacher wouldn’t welcome such a prize which can help tremendously in transportation.
