Strykers defeated North Soesdyke by 37 runs in a feature 30-over cricket encounter at the Splashmins’ ground last Sunday to take the Splashmins’ trophy.
Strykers batted first and made 169-9 off their allotted 30 overs and then dismissed North Soesdyke for 132.
Man-of-the-Match Ryan Ramdass top scored with 78 for Strykers as D. Sarjoo took 4-22 in a losing effort although R. Gangaram (36), O. George (22) and S. Sarjoo (21) offered some resistance for North Soesdyke.
J. Khan captured 5-17 and got support from V. Jamsie who took 3-23 for the winners who also took the title last year.
