The media eat themselves. Wherever they are. There’s no better story than a hack against the wall. In Scotland, they have a Grouse season .Shooting begins on the ‘Glorious Twelfth ‘of August. In Guyana, the grouse being shot is Freddie Kissoon and that season is now well underway.
It’s all taking place on the moors of Mr Glenn Lall who is letting his organ be used for a very active debate about Freddie K and his predilections or prejudices. You take your pick.
Talking of GL and FK, it was good of the sacred proprietor to introduce me to the Fredster at the Peg-a-Suss love-in for Yesu. Less good that Freddie refused to proffer his hand. My Pal David Dabydeen says it happened to him too. No skin off our nose, Mr FK. We had bigger fish to fry!
Back to the point at hand. Peeping Tom or the Peeping Toms seem(s) to be taking aim at the Fredster from across the Railway Embankment on the East Coast.
Peeps is trying to analyse Fred and his visceral (for it is that) hatred of the PPP, Jagdeo and Jagan. Not always in that order.
It seems it may all have to do with slight -perceived and real – by the party on the Fredster many years back. Not ideology but ego-ology or idiot-ology.
Oh Dear. Oh Dear. Can Guyana ’s greatest and most prolific (and prolix) columnist, soi disant, really not have the skin of a rhinoceros?
Freddie has now taken to hand-to-hand word-for-word combat with the Peeper despite declaring he never answers anonymous attacks (even this one?).
For us all, it is proving a highly entertaining spectacle. Who will win – the Peeper or the Fredster? Who will land the next, inevitably low, blow? Let the ferrets continue to fight in the KN sack.
Let a thousand flowers bloom in Mr Lall’s garden. Bill says it’s called Freedom of Speech. You Guyanese fought hard for it.
Appreciate. To misquote Voltaire ‘I may not agree with a word the Fredster writes (and there are thousands of them) but I will fight like hell for his right to say it’ Viva Freddie… Pip!Pip!
