Chairman of the Police Complaints Authority (PCA) Justice Cecil Kennard will travel to Berbice this weekend to meet with members of the public who may wish to raise with him matters which are of concern to them.
This move comes on the heels of a successful visit to Bartica two weeks ago.
Justice Kennard will be in the courtroom of the New Amsterdam Magistrate’s Court from 08:30 hours tomorrow.
Residents in Berbice are urged to make use of this opportunity as this is likely to be the Chairman’s last visit to the Berbice area in 2008.
The Chairman will also visit Linden (Region 10) and Mabaruma (Region 1) in October in order to sensitize members of the public of his role and functions.
