The local golf programme continues this weekend with tomorrow’s Muneshwar’s Ltd. sponsored Medal Play tournament at the Lusignan Golf course.
Close to 35 golfers are expected to participate in the tournament as they fine tune preparations for the Guyana Open set to take place in just over a month and a half time.
Last week’s winner of the New GPC Inc. sponsored tournament Gavin Todd is expected to be among the starters as well as runner up Ian Gouveia, Maurice Solomon, Patrick Prashad, Esau Shamshudin, Chatterpaul Deo, Colin Ming, Imran Khan, Vijay Deo, Christine Sukhram, Lester Alvis, Joann Deo, Carlos Adams, Melissa Humphrey, Ronald Bulkhan, Avinda Kishore, Bolaram Deo, Dr. Ram Singh, Mark Lashley, Alfred Mentore and Albert Semple.
Representatives of Muneshwar’s Ltd. are expected to be on hand to assist in the presentation of prizes. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers as well as Nearest to the Pin.
Registration will close today at 16:00 hours and interested players can register by calling the bar at telephone number 220-5660. Assembly time is 12:20 tomorrow for a briefing before the actual Tee off at 12:30 hours.
