Defending champion Alonzo Greaves has established himself as the man to beat having won numerous races on the road and at the National Park including last weekends DeSinco/Milkaut feature.
Greaves, who also won the Continental Cycle Club and Indian Arrival Day 50 milers among other races this year, will again be aiming for the top podium spot when he takes on all challengers in the 6th annual Laparkan Holdings Ltd. sponsored meet.
The feature 35 lap match-up will again be a hotly contested event and riders who were lapped last week will certainly be aiming to redeem themselves this week which makes the race much more interesting.
All the winners last week, BMX, upright, juvenile and veterans under and over-50 will hope to repeat again on Saturday.
Race programme for Saturday; 12 – 14 boys 3 laps, Veteran under 50 – 5 laps, Veterans over 50 – 5 laps, Juveniles – 10 laps, Uprights – 10 laps, BMX boys open – 3 laps, BMX boys (12-14) – 3 laps, BMX boys (9-12) – 3 laps, BMX boys (6-9) – 2 laps, BMX girls (6-12) – 1 lap, School boys & novices – 35 laps.
The first race will pedal off at 09:00hrs sharp. (Franklin Wilson)
