The National youth selectors yesterday announced a squad of 25 players to participate in three one-day Trial matches on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the DCC ground.
The matches will be used to select the Guyana team for the West Indies under-17 cricket tournament in December in Trinidad.
The squad include four players from Essequibo, nine from Berbice and 12 from Demerara and the squad was selected after the CLICO under-17 Inter County tournament which was won by Demerara yesterday.
The trial squad read:- Herell Greene, Anthony Adams, Rensford Beaton, Neil Ramalho, Shameer Fazal, Quincy Ovid-Richardson, Arif Habib, Kwame Crosse, Dexter Solomon, Amir Khan, Ricardo Devers, Dayanand Roopnarine, Andre Stoll, Seon Daniels, Delon Fernandes, Kamal Ramkissoon, Keon Joseph, Jomal Lafleur, Harrinarine Chattergoon, Dominique Rikhi, Andy Mohan, Treston Carmichael, Clinton Pestano, Jamally Odle, Sharmindra Hardial.
