The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport yesterday commenced a 10-day basic football coaching programme in Lethem, Region Nine.
Coach Dennis `Chow’ Hunte is part of a team of officials from the ministry now in the region and yesterday morning took several youths in the area through the basics of football.
Parliamentary Secretary Steve Ninvalle, who is also in Lethem, said that Hunte’s visit is part of a plan by the ministry to assist in developing football at the grassroots level.
