Guyana got some people who don’t trust nobody but an obeah man. Even some of dem who does go to church don’t forget de obeah man because dem always believe that dem got to have back-up—God on one hand and de obeah man as de back up.
But it look like obeah people getting scarce in Guyana because some of dem does go to Suriname fuh de treatment. Nuff does travel backtrack and people can tell, because when some of dem coming back dem smiling big, big.
Nuff man actually go to Suriname to get thing to keep away bullets and dem boys seh that even Fine Man tek a trip. De other day even Bharrat go to Suriname because things wasn’t going too good wid de agreement de CARICOM people sign wid de European Union and he try he best to convince he colleagues that dem needed to ignore de agreement but it didn’t wuk.
Just before de final meeting wid de other regional leaders Bharrat decide to go to Suriname to get some help from de Djukas. Dem did come fuh Carifesta and dem do a lot of things. Dem boys seh that dem even help two women get pregnant because de women did complain how dem was trying all de time and dem wasn’t getting through.
Well dem same Djukas give Bharrat something and he now believe that he ain’t got to get support from he CARICOM colleagues because he mek de announcement that he gun go it alone. Is de Djuka medicine that give he de power.
But why he had to go to Suriname? He been to all dem church in Guyana. He go to Hindu, Muslim and Christian but he de still want back-up. Dem boys seh that Corbin intend to go when de next elections come around.
Other people don’t really trust dem things because if that was de case, a big American lawyer wouldn’t have get into trouble wid de law. He tek a big case because de Americans done decide that Short Man guilty and dem doing everything to keep he in jail.
De lawyer believe that he got a good case and he spend a lot of time and money getting all de supporting evidence to help he client get off. Then “Bram”, out of de blues de Americans decide to charge de lawyer because dem claim how he set up somebody to kill de star witness.
Dem boys want to know how de lawyer know who is de star witness because up to now, a witness is a witness. Is only names and de prosecution ain’t even decide who dem gun call or who dem ain’t gun call; dem ain’t even decide to release to de defence wha dem really got.
But dem boys believe that some kok pass and de man who de lawyer collect, as de prosecution seh, been in de pocket of de prosecution. It look like if he place he bet pun two horse and de one that come fuss is de one he gun stay with. Suh he probably go to de lawyer and then he go to de prosecution.
Dem boys seh that de same man must be land in some kind of trouble and he doing all this to ease de pressure. But one way or de other he got to be cheap because he only accept $1,000.
Well dem charge de lawyer and that is going to be a hell of a trial if dem can prove all de things. De people who lay de charge against de lawyer claim how dem have tape recording and dem have video. Dem go so far as to release some of de conversation.
One man claim that this gun mek poor Short Man stay more long in jail because de prosecution gun want to charge he wid plotting a murder. When dem boys put this and de drug charge together dem ain’t seeing no end.
Plus, it gun mean finding a new lawyer which mean more money. It gun mean having de new lawyer study de case which mean more delay and it gun mean somebody planning new strategy.
From some of de documents that dem boys see, de man who set up de lawyer is a Guyanese who claim that he was close to Short Man suh de whole thing is that people selling out pun de Short Man and he can’t do nutten to help heself.
And besides it look like if he gun end up in solitary confinement again.
