DEAR EDITOR,
For the past three weeks the village of Strathspey on the East Coast of Demerara has been suffering from a serious water shortage.
Many calls were made to GWI to complain of the problems the residents are faced with.
But up to now nothing has been done to restore the full flow of water. It appears that GWI cannot locate the problem which is causing the water shortage.
Some residents, who can afford, have to pay $2,500 for a black tank of water from private trucks.
