‘Fine Man’ and ‘Skinny’ got just what they deserved

Dear Editor,

Mr. C. N. Sharma should have no say in Guyana’s security, for he is one of the instigators on his television programme.
Mr. Sharma said: “I was the chairman of a community policing group (for a long time) and I know what crime is all about. The police themselves cannot fight crime unless they get help from the public, and that is the most important thing.”
Mr. Sharma, why not preach this on your TV shows on a daily basis, rather than re-play repeated threats to kill the President of Guyana?
Mr. Sharma went on to say: “I don’t fully agree with the way the Police killed ‘Fine Man,’ because I think if there is a criminal out there, the officers should capture him and find out the reason why he is involved in killing…But overall, I think killing ‘Fine Man’ and ‘Skinny’ is a good move and a great start, and the Government should be highly commended.”
Mr. Sharma, it’s either you are for the killing of ‘Fine Man’ and ‘Skinny,’ or you are not, because you can not have it both ways.
How long was ‘Skinny’ in prison until he was ‘let go’ by corrupt officials?
Did Skinny not have a chance to tell the world what caused him to become a criminal and whom he is working for?
Do you, or anyone for that matter, think these hard core criminals will ever say why they became criminals, or whom they are working for?
Mr. Sharma, you are living in a dream world, and you will only wake up when you stop instigating and agitating those that follow the show.
Listen to the mother of ‘Skinny,’ who said her son told her he will never be caught alive.
There is nothing in this world that would turn around these criminals to live a life of decency.
They are criminals, and nothing but criminals, and got what they deserved.
No time to capture vicious criminals anymore, because they will not talk; and when they won’t talk, the opposition and you will cry torture.
