GHB releases fixtures for Noble House Seafoods Handicap Tournament

The Guyana Hockey Board will commence their indoor season with the staging of the Noble House Seafoods Handicap Tournament which runs from September 8-19 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
Some 6 teams most of them registering A and B units have signalled their intentions to participate in the competition.    The defending champions are GCC ‘B’ in the Men’s category and the GCC Tigers in the Ladies division.

The FIH Indoor Rules will apply along with the FIH Indoor Tournament Regulations. The tournament will be divided into two sections, 1st Division and 2nd Division.    Only the goalkeeper of a 1st Division team, who will play out of goal, can play for a 2nd Division team.
The 2nd Division will be played on a Round Robin basis. The team with the most points will be the winner.

A 15-minutes Grace period will be granted before the awarding of a walkover. Every 5 minutes one goal will be awarded against the defaulting team.
