Competition continues on Sunday
Azad Azeez stroked 60 to spearhead Ryan’s X1 to victory against Trophy Stall last Sunday in the opening round of the DCMCO 15-overs softball cricket competition at the Guyana Softball ground.
Trophy Stall batted first and made 98 for 8 off their allotted 15 overs with Mark Fung scoring 36 runs. T. Mohamed and M. Deonarine took 2 wickets for Trophy Stall. In reply, Ryan’s X1 made 103 for 5 off of 11 overs as Azeez led the run chase with entertaining batting. D. Lalchan took 2 wickets for Trophy Stall.
In the second encounter, Park rangers scored 109 for 9 in their allotted 15 overs and bowled Rafman for 85 runs with Ryan Singh taking 3-12.
