Reigning Mr. Guyana Mark ‘Uno’ Perry, who also has the distinction of being the inaugural Mr. Hugh Ross Champion, is set and ready to represent Guyana at the upcoming Central American & Caribbean Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships set for the Bahamas, September 24 – 29.
In a release issued by the Guyana Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (GABBFF) on Saturday last, it was stated that Perry, one of three athletes selected, Clint Duke and Lindie Sharpe the others, had decided not to participate due to personal reasons.
This turned out to be an inaccurate statement due to a communication glitch which has since been corrected.
Perry, who has taken the competitive stage by storm, has said he is more than proud to have been selected to be one Guyana’s three representatives along with his fellow Lindeners.
“I am well set and prepared to represent my country at CAC which I am looking forward to with great expectation later this month.”
The GABBFF is scheduled to meet with the Duke, Sharpe and Perry later this week.
