The body of a 39-year-old man was found at around 06:30 hrs yesterday in the Pomeroon River.
Police suspect that the victim, Linden Henry, of Dredge Creek Upper Pomeroon River, was murdered, since the body bore wounds to the front and back of his head.
Henry was last seen alive last Thursday, when he borrowed a paddle boat to take shovel sticks to Charity.
At about 12:00 hrs yesterday, August 29, 2008, the boat was found at Charity without the shovel sticks.
The body is waiting a post-mortem examination.
