The Joint Services have continued to dent the criminal enterprises but they are failing to cover all bases because the petty criminals seem to believe that they can make attacks on others.
One small group is going to arrive at that conclusion to their detriment because there are police ranks on the lookout for them. One group is going to attack a group of merchants and suffer.
They shied away from the visitors largely because they were always in large numbers and the police were never far off.
This helped make Carifesta the success it is. But once Carifesta is over there is going to be a swell in the number of attacks. However, these are going to be short-lived.

The roads are quiet but in the early days of the opening of schools a motorist is going to break the rules and strike a child. The police would capture him after his escape from the scene.
The driver would later say that he fled because of fear for his life but no one would buy that excuse.

Another family is going to be left homeless. I warned of the last one said to have been caused by a person of unsound mind. This time faulty electrical wiring would be to blame.
The power company is going to avoid any liability because it is going to argue that the house needed to be wired and this caused a feedback and the fire.
The matter is going to reach the courts but a decision is going to be some way off.
