DEAR EDITOR,
Now is not the time to celebrate the killing of Guyana’s two most wanted criminals or fight over who should get the $60 million reward.
This is the time for all Guyanese to work with Guyana’s law enforcement and give information so that the entire gang will be brought to justice.
The $60 million reward must go to the victims of Lusignan, Bartica and Lindo Creek massacres. Now is not the time to pat the shoulders of law enforcement officers for taking out these two notorious criminals in ‘Fine Man’ and ‘Skinny’.
It is the job of law enforcement to serve and protect the citizens of this country called Guyana. Law enforcement officers must go after their own confederates who are in cahoots with criminals and must bring them to justice too. This is the only way to make a major dent in criminal activities in this country.
Mr. Rohee himself made the point of where too many officials are asking for a towel or two or three. For those who might not know what a towel is, it’s $1000.00. ‘Fine Man’ and ‘Skinny’ are just the hired guns who worked for their criminal masters.
Guyanese must ask themselves who has all the money and loot from all those robberies and killings that these two hired guns and their gang committed.
The Government and Joint Services must keep the pressure on at all times for now is not the time for celebrating.
There are still the criminal masters out there who will hire more ‘Fine Man’ and ‘Skinny’ to carry out their dirty job.
Those are the ones, and those within law enforcement who are corrupt, the Joint Services must go after and bring to justice.
Bit by bit this plague and these parasites will be removed from Guyana and only the Joint Services can do it and must do it.
