The Ryan Crawford Memorial Turf Club at Alness Village, Corentyne will come alive on September 7 with a grand horse race meet.
Nine races are scheduled for the day including feature races such as the ‘C’ Class, which carries a total prize of $300,000 and the three–year–old West Indian bred that has a total prize of $160,000.
The next best prize races include the ‘F’ Class mile with $140,000 and the two–year–old maiden with $100,000. Other races of the meet include the G & H, I & Lower, J & K and two L Class clashes.
Horse trainers and owners are reminded that entries close tomorrow at the club’s office at Number 19 Road, Corentyne.
