In a consequential display of corporate responsibility, Bryden and Fernandes Ltd presented a quantity of jerseys to the national female rugby squad yesterday, at a simple ceremony which was held in the National Park.
The jerseys which will be used by the players during practice sessions was donated so that the recipients could have a look of uniformity as they prepare to represent Guyana at the upcoming NAWIRA Sevens Championships scheduled to be staged in the Bahamas on October 25-26.
National Captain Sabola Gray received the gift on behalf of the squad from Bryden & Fernandes Sales Co-ordinator Rawl Davson in the presence of other players and National Coach Alton Agard and his Assistant Cornel Millington.
