Police in Linden are investigating an incident which occurred about 09:00hrs yesterday, at Blue Berry Hill, Wismar, in which a man was shot by a licensed firearm holder.
Investigations have so far revealed that the two men involved had a feud and one of them is the licensed owner of a handgun.
It is alleged that they had an armed confrontation during which four shots were fired, resulting in Ivelaw Downer, 43, a clothes vendor, of One Mile Wismar, being shot in his back, on the left side.
Both men are in custody. The firearm and eleven 9mm rounds were lodged as investigations continue.
