The Abdulla Hamid Basketball Foundation (AHBF) Basketball Summer Programme continued last week when Police Officer, Anthony White held a session on crime prevention with the young players.
Hamid told Kaieteur Sport yesterday that White discussed the various levels of crime in the society along with how to avoid crime, with the participants of the 2008 programme. He said the session was part of the social aspect of the event.
The eight–week summer camp, which is ongoing at the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) court, seeks to build more complete players that will function on both the court and in society as responsible human beings.
