Steve’s Jewellery beat Everest in 20/20 fixture
Steve’s Jewellery overcame Everest at the Everest ground last weekend in a 20/20 Tapeball cricket match sponsored by Steve’s Jewellery.
The winners rattled up 150-9 in their 20 overs. Ragbeer Ramchand led the way with 35 which included 2×4 and 3×6 and Sham Nokta supported with 22. F. Khan captured 4 for 9 and S. Harrilall 2 for 18 for Everest.
They in reply flopped to 96 all out in 19 overs. S. Harrilall hit 24, while bowling for the Steve’s Navin Persaud took 4 for 22 and Pradeep Abdool 2 for 18.
After the match, trophies were presented to the outstanding performers, with best fielder – Sham Nokta, best bats man Pradeep Abdool, best bowler Kevin Alphonso and man-of-the-match Ragbeer Ramchand all collecting trophies.
