The Georgetown Cricket Association selection panel headed by Chairman Alfred Mentore has invited all players from Georgetown clubs who were born on or after the 1st September, 1991 to report to the Ghandi Youth Organization (GYO) ground on Woolford Avenue at 13:00hrs tomorrow for a practice session.
Players will be short-listed from tomorrow’s session for possible selection on the Georgetown team for the Inter-Association under-17 cricket competition.
This is in preparation for the Inter County matches which commence on September 6. Players are asked to walk with their full cricket gear for this session and their birth certificate or passport.
A Guyana team for the regional under-17 tournament, which is scheduled for Trinidad in December, will be selected after the inter-county tournament.
