Guyana started their campaign in the 2008 Caribbean Football Union Youth Cup on a good note when they held Barbados to a nil all stalemate on Friday. The two teams are expected to meet again today to decide the winner of the group.
Grenada who should have been the third team in the group failed to show up for the tournament.
In other results on the day, Guadeloupe mauled the US Virgin Islands 10-1 in group F play.
In group A, Cuba recorded their 2nd 7-0 win, this time the unlucky team was the Turks & Caicos Islands. They also hammered Dominica by a similar margin.
In the other group A encounter, St. Vincent & the Grenadines handed Dominica their second loss in as many matches when they won 3-1.
Over in group C, Haiti also made it 2 out of 2 with a 4-0 whipping of Cayman Islands.
Bermuda, after drawing with hosts Trinidad and Tobago 1-1 in their first game hammered Aruba 6-0 in their group encounter.
Group E, Antigua & Barbuda and the Dominican Republic drew 1-1 and in the other group match, the Netherlands Antilles went under to Jamaica 0-6.
