Scotia Bank’s Branch Manager, Mathew Langevine on Thursday handed over a cheque to Pepsi Sonics’ Vice–President Linda Whyte to help offset expenses related to its annual basketball ‘summer’ camp.
Langevine told Kaieteur Sport that the financial institution was happy to support the club and by extension the sport. The Branch Manager said that they are strong believers in supporting Guyana’s youth and sport.
“We support all sport; cricket, athletics and basketball.
This is something we are accustomed to. We are glad to support our youth and sport,” Langevine said at the Bank’s Robb Street office.
