Giftland Office Max, Farfan & Mendes Ltd. on board
Corporate support for the annual Mr. & Ms. Guyana Senior Body Building and Fitness Championships organised by the Guyana Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (GABBFF) has already begun to flow.
Saturday, Giftland Office Max and Farfan & Mendes Limited officially announced their partnerships with the Federation by making monetary donations.
Giftland Office Max Floor Manager Affia McKenzie said that their company has a good record of supporting the development of sports in Guyana and this was just another example of their continuing commitment.
“We are very excited and willing to give back in any way to our sportsmen and women and we wish all the athletes the best of luck on competition night.”
Farfan & Mendes Ltd. Senior Supervisor at the High Street Branch Kinikmu Melville also boasted of her company’s continued dedication towards the upliftment of sports and athletes in Guyana.
“Farfan & Mendes understands its role as a corporate citizen and we have a proud history of fulfilling that responsibility. We will continue to do so in whatever way we can as sports helps to build a nation.”
President of the GABBFF Frank Tucker thanked both company’s for their support and promised that come August 10 at Banks DIH ground Thirst Park, the athletes will sizzle.
A number of other companies have already pledged their support including Banks DIH and Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company. More details to follow.
