Walter .A. Jordan, who died at his Tucville home Thursday evening, is being missed by a number of friends and organizations, not least the Guyana Post Office Corporation with which he worked.
He was a post master at the Suddie Post Office, Essequibo and was later promoted to administrative officer of the Guyana Telecommunications Corporation which has now become the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company.
Mr Jordan was later Secretary of the Guyana Water Authority; Public Relations Officer at the Mayor and City Council; and later, a columnist for both Kaieteur News and the PNCR’s New Nation.
Some of the printer’s ink that flowed through his veins must have entered his genes because he has left behind a son, Michael, who is active in the media as a reporter.
The management and staff of Kaieteur News extend their sincerest sympathy to the relatives of the late Walter Jordan.
