Goed Fortuin recorded double wins for last Sunday as play in the Guyana Softball League, Banks DIH sponsored cricket tournament continued.
Playing at the Den Amstel ground, Goed Fortuin beat Cornelia Ida and got a walkover in their second game from Rapid Fire XI, while Country Side got the better of Michael XI and La Jalousie Estate.

Goed Fortuin All Star XI defeated Cornelia Ida Invaders XI by 5 wkts: Cornelia Ida Invaders won the toss and elected to bat struggling to 73 all out in 10 overs (Kenroy Persaud 22 (2×6; 2×4); Shaffray Esau 18 (2×6); Shazim Hussain 3-4 from 3 overs).
Goed Fortuin All Stars XI made 74-5 in 9 overs (Ralph Misir 16 (1×6; 1×4); Akram Willie 12 (1×6); Vikash Dhaniram 2-14 from 3 overs).
Goed Fortuin All Star XI in their second match got a walkover from Rapid Fire XI.
Den Amstel also got a walkover from Rapid Fire XI who failed to show.

Country Side XI made light work of Michael XI by defeating them by 9 wkts:
Country Side won the toss and inserted Michael XI dismissing them for 61 in 13.4 overs (Jainarine Khemraj 20 (2×6); Jagdesh Deosarran 4-9 from 3 overs) Country Side replied with 62-1 in 6.5 overs (Jagdesh Deosarran 33 not out (4×6).

Country Side XI in their second match of the day continued their winning ways by defeating the previously unbeaten La Jalousie Estate XI by 9 wkts:
La Jalousie Estate XI won the toss and batted but struggled in the face of some accurate bowling being all out for 84 in 14.2 overs (Gobin Hansraj 25(3×6); Roy Seebarran 3-7 from 3 overs) In reply Country Side made 86-1 in 6.5 overs (Krishna Deosarran 35 not out (4×6).
La Jalousie Estate XI redeemed themselves in their second match defeating Players XI by 31 runs:
La Jalousie Estate XI batted first and rattled up a challenging 151-8 in 15 overs (Doodnauth Dhansraj 53 (5×6); Troy Balgobin 23(2×6); Roy Kedum 3-15 from 3 overs; Ricardo Kedum 2-37 from 3 overs) Players XI started well being 48 without loss in 8 overs but once the openers were removed the batting fell away being all out for 120 in 13.2 overs (Troy Kedum 46(4×6);Ricardo Kedum 23(3×6); Roy Kedum 23 (2×6;1×4); Bisham Dhanraj 3-16 from 3 overs; Pariag Sookhoo 2-28 from 3 overs).

Dare Devils XI returned in their third match to defeat Tradesmen XI by a comfortable margin of 74 runs:
