On Friday, the Professional Guard Services Inc. hosted its second quarterly presentation and awards ceremony for the year 2008.
Some nine officers were awarded at this ceremony for their outstanding performances in their various functions. First Lieutenant, Brentnol Mc Koy, received $10,000 while the same amount was given to Inspector Ingrid Ridley.
Armed Sergeant, Lewis Cockfield, was awarded a $10,000 cash prize, which was also allotted to baton rank, Esma George, and driver, W. Profitt.
Radio Operator, Glennis Fraser, also received the $10,000 cash prize, while Bank and Factory Shift Commander, Oswald Lashley received $5,000 for apprehending two thieves.
Bank and Factory Shift Commander, Premchand Ramrattan received $5,000 for being outstanding and totally dedicated to his duty while Lieutenant Eustace Rodney was awarded $10,000 for being one of the most dedicated and dependable ranks in the service.
