This year’s activity will have an addition, with the staging of a fun day the following day August 2 in the Sophia area.
The marathon will start at Parika and end in D Field Sophia and transportation will be available to take runners to the starting point.
The fun day will feature cycle races and stunts, tapeball cricket, 5-a-side football, cross country and other races for boys and girls along with several novelty events.
The staging of the event is being also coordinated by the development and sports committee of South Turkeyen and Cummings Park.
