National cycling coach Hassan Mohamed will pedal off his annual Teach Them Young cycling programme at the National Park on Monday.
The programme which will last for a total of 8 weeks is the longest running Summer Coaching School in Guyana and targets riders at the beginners’ stage as well as novices both boys and girls.
Participants can use racing, BMX or mountain cycles for training which will be held Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 11:30hrs.
Most, if not all of Guyana’s leading riders have been products of this programme which will is sponsored by the National Sports Commission.
Coach Mohamed said he is looking forward to another successful year with the young riders and is hoping that more females will participate this time around.
Parents are reminded that no registration fees will be charged.
