Essequibo batsman Royan Fredericks, who has been selected for the Guyana team to contest the Regional under-19 Championship in Barbados next month, is set to join a long list of Guyanese siblings who have proudly represented the land of many waters at the Regional under-19 levels since 1976.
Royan will join his older brother Norman who played in the 2005 championship in St Vincent & the Grenadines.
The trend started in 1967 with the Kallicharran brothers Stanley, Alvin and later Derrick (1975, 1976 and 1977).
