Dear Editor,
It is good to see such a strong and deliberate rejection from the Islamic community of the contents of the GC letter styled “Islam and Homosexuality”. It validates the new approach of offering fact-based evidence to effectively counter the social dilemma posed by gay militancy.
Almost every argument posted by pro-gay or gay-militant contributors will, upon closer examination, be seen to have engaged in outright lies, twisted logic, wholesale efforts at deception, or some subtle combination of the three. The person who posted the original letter (GC 10.6.08) does not disappoint, as he/she attempts to confuse readers about an Islamic dispensation. In other words, using a complicit media, he/she attempts to foist another hoax upon the Guyanese people.
Firstly, I would have thought differently to that person’s suggestions, given the very compassionate and balanced, but nevertheless eminently strong rejection of homosexuality in the Islamic website http://www.IslamOnline.net.
Secondly, the person should read the several commentaries at that site under the caption “Homosexuality: The Nature of Perversion” (it is still considered a perversion in Islam) at http://www.islamonline.net/english/Contemporary/2003/07/Article02.shtml .
Thirdly, since gay activists prefer to deal with the superlatives of “human rights” arguments in an all-out effort to distract attention from the reality of their death-style, we should direct you immediately to the article “Diseases Related To Homosexuality” by Dr. Nadia El-Awady at http://www.islamonline.net/english/Contemporary/2003/02/article01-7.shtml.
The range of diseases (mental illness, Kaposi Sarcoma, Hodgkin’s Disease, Anal Cancer, Impairment of Immune Response, and Aids, illustrate why the gay-militant community will always, without exception , attempt to seize or control the health sector in activist states. The idea seems to first limit the epidemiological response, then control the way in which the disease is reported.
Fourthly, Islam looks at homosexuality and lesbianism as sexual perversions. In the fatwa styled “Homosexuality and Lesbianism: Sexual Perversions”
(http://www.islamonline.net/fatwa/english/FatwaDisplay.asp?hFatwaID=100855 ) , a group of prominent Muslim scholars deal thoroughly with this serious issue.
Fifthly, Dr. Nadia El-Awady briefly addresses the role of gay activists in forcing the removal of the disorder “homosexuality” from the DSM.
Finally, however, we would do well to remember that the article in the Jakarta newspaper ended with these three sentences: “Condemnation of homosexuality was voiced by two conservative Muslim groups, the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) and Hizbut Thahir Indonesia (HTI).
“It’s a sin. We will not consider homosexuals an enemy, but we will make them aware that what they are doing is wrong,” MUI deputy chairman Amir Syarifuddin said.
Rokhmat, of the hardline HTI, several times asked homosexual participants in attendance to repent and force themselves to gradually return to the right path.
