DEAR EDITOR,
I work just at the back of the court house in Charity, and I want to enlighten the public as to what is happening in and around that court house.
Firstly, the building is in such a state of disrepair that it has become an eye sore, having broken windows and stairs, etc.
Inside the court, the Magistrate’s desk, if that is what it is called, is a sorry excuse for a desk, with the top partly eaten away with termite and bat droppings every where.
Secondly, the yard is a disgrace. Garbage is dumped there, the path to the steps is littered with sheep, goat and cow dung, and there is tall grass all over the place.
Added to that, there is only one point of entry and exit. The Magistrate and court attendants all use the same steps. If there should be an emergency, the situation would be tragic.
Please, whoever is in charge, take action before tragedy strikes.
