Ann’s Grove’s Maxton Adams blasted 5 goals to lead his team to a convincing 6-3 win over Black Stallion when action in the East Demerara Football Association under-17 League continued over the weekend.
Adams netted in the 10th, 29th, 43rd, 65th and 78th minute with the other coming off the boot of Narvado Denny in the 50th.
Scoring a double for Black Stallion was Beron Walks (49 & 70) with Trevor Mc Arthur on target in the 35th.
In the other encounter, Buxton were 2-0 winners over Melanie, Keoma Sullivan converting both goals either side of play, 35th and 71st.
Meanwhile, the EDFA will convene its first General Council meeting for the year at the Plaisance Primary School on Saturday from 16:00hrs or 4:00 pm.
All registered clubs are invited to send 3 representatives to this meeting, one of the representatives must be the club coach.
