Jun 13, 2008 Letters
DEAR EDITOR,
I respond to Michelle Morris’ letter captioned “The letters of T. King are all appalling” in Kaieteur News dated June 11-2008.
Michelle, the only reason you are appalled at all my letters is because the truth strikes a nerve. You even agreed with me on almost everything but yet claim my letters are appalling. It makes no sense Michelle.
For your information, this Government stood up to every scrutiny since it was elected in free, fair and transparent elections since 1992.
With regards to Rodney’s assassination during the PNC’s illegal dictatorship reign, one day you might very well get what you asked for because history is not foolish. Did PNCR not drape criminal killer Blackie in Guyana’s flag?
Did PNCR not say there are no criminals in Buxton?
The latest criminal that was killed by the security forces in the jungles of Guyana, was he not from Buxton, Michelle?
Raphael Trotman might be a gentleman of reputable standing, according to you, but does this mean that Trotman was not wrong to Gumattie Singh?
Michelle, I stand correct when I say this PPP/C Government is not dictatorial.
Corbin, Trotman and others called this Government dictatorial and now you are jumping on their bandwagon.
Let me ask you again: How is it that the likes of Corbin, Trotman and now you and others still have free media to vent poison against this Government if it is dictatorial?
Simply put Michelle, dictators do not like opposition within their sight.
I stand correct when I say, Michelle, that you should not equate yourself with Cheddi for change. Cheddi is genuine and fair-minded.
Change has come to Guyana and Guyanese but it’s not to your liking.
Michelle, if you have a travel visa then use it or you lose it, if you don’t like the changes in Guyana.
Michelle, you are only talking for talk sake because you are listening to the opposing leaders who want absolute power by hook or by crook.
Isn’t this a fact Michelle?
T. King
